About the project
🇬🇧 This is a trip we will take together with a French circus troupe during a sunny summer in Burgundy.
Zalzaros’ troupe moves slowly in wooden caravans pulled by horses, which are also part of the family.
The Circus has always been a source of curiosity for me. Not the big circuses of famous families but instead the smaller, pure and authentic ones. I’m fascinated by knowing their behind the scenes and being able to talk about complex issues starting from the stories of the characters.
I had the chance to get to know and deal with this reality by spending a month with them and taking a close look at the lives of these fantastic characters.
Zalzaros is a documentary that involves the viewer, motivating him to take courage in his life choices that may sometimes seem a little “crazy” and very distant from reality, when in fact everything is much easier than we think.
Special thanks to the entire Troupe Zalzaros, it was an unforgettable experience!
🇮🇹 Questo é un viaggio che faremo insieme ad una troupe circense francese durante un’assolata estate in Borgogna.
La troupe di Zalzaros si sposta lentamente con delle carovane in legno trainate da cavalli, che sono anche essi parte della famiglia.
Il Circo è sempre stato per me motivo di curiosità. Non i grandi circhi di famiglie famose ma invece quelli più piccoli, puri e autentici. Mi affascina conoscere il loro dietro le quinte e poter parlare di temi complessi partendo dalle storie dei personaggi.
Ho avuto la possibilità di conoscere e confrontarmi con questa realtà passando un mese con loro e sbirciando da vicino le vite di questi fantastici personaggi.
Zalzaros é un documentario che coinvolgere lo spettatore, motivandolo a prendere coraggio nelle sue scelte di vita che possono sembrare a volte un pò “pazze” e molto distanti dalla realtà, quando invece è tutto molto più facile di quello che pensiamo.
Un grazie speciale a tutta la Troupe Zalzaros, è stata un’esperienza indimenticabile!
